Caring for your telephone
Wipe the unit with a damp cloth or an anti-
static cloth. Do not use solvents or microfi-
bre cloths.
Never use a dry cloth as this can cause static
discharge.
Contact with liquid
If the device has come into contact with liq-
uid:
¤ Disconnect the power adaptor and/or
remove the battery from the handset
immediately.
¤ Allow the liquid to drain from the device.
u Dab all parts dry and then leave the
device (handset with the battery com-
partment open and the keypad faced
downwards) for at least 72 hours in a
warm, dry location (not: microwave,
oven or similar).
u Do not switch on the device again until
it is completely dry.
When it has fully dried out, you will usually
be able to use it again.
Insert strips
Blank insert strips for the function keys can
be found on the enclosed CD.
