Activating/deactivating do not disturb

Precondition: System Support has enabled the do not

disturb facility for all HiPath 4000 users in your system.

If you do not wish to receive incoming calls, you can ac-

tivate the do not disturb facility. Internal callers then

hear ringing tone, while external callers are forwarded

to the attendant.

To activate:

n Lift the handset.

t Replace the handset.

To deactivate:

n Lift the handset.

or Enter the code which has been programmed for you.

t Replace the handset.

If your telephone belongs to an ONS group (One

Number Service  page 46), please note the fol-

lowing features:

Do Not Disturb can be switched on or off on all

telephones in the ONS group; this then applies

for all telephones in the ONS group.

Enter the code!

The attendant can override the do not disturb fa-

cility.
