Description
As the demand for historical facility information
grows, a solution providing easy user access to
system data becomes invaluable. InfoCenter Suite
®
is designed to deliver solutions that meet ongoing
facility needs for information management tools.
InfoCenter Suite provides a means of managing,
processing and retrieving historical performance
data for a range of information management and
reporting applications.
State-of-the-art InfoCenter Suite Base opens up
new avenues in information management. From
high-level analysis to automated data management
and processing, InfoCenter Suite Base allows users
in a facility to access information without having to
use an Insight
®
workstation, providing cost-effective
information sharing. InfoCenter Suite Base provides
a solid foundation for data storage, management
and retrieval to facilitate tracking, analysis, and
reporting of a facility’s performance.
InfoCenter Suite Base was specifically designed to
provide a desktop-based information management
and reporting solution for users who want to
efficiently convert basic data into more meaningful
information, but do not want the overhead of a
large, multi-user, enterprise-wide solution or long-
term, regulatory/compliance-based data archiving
system.
As a personal edition of the InfoCenter Suite
software with features and functions tailored for low
data volume and low user applications, InfoCenter
Suite Base can reduce costs and increase
productivity for almost any data management, data
analysis or reporting need. The combination of
automated data management, advanced processing
and information sharing allows users to spend their
time analyzing information, not managing it.
As your information management needs evolve,
InfoCenter Suite is designed to grow with you. The
InfoCenter Suite Base/Advanced upgrade is
available to convert your InfoCenter Suite Base
software into the full-featured InfoCenter Suite
Advanced.
System Architecture
InfoCenter Suite Base is comprised of the following
software programs:
• InfoCenter Server
®
Base ⎯ The engine behind
InfoCenter Suite provides the interface between
client applications and the Microsoft®
SQL
Express database where all information is stored.
• InfoCenter Administrator
®
⎯ Client application
designed for management and administration of
data within InfoCenter Server.
• InfoCenter Report Manager
®
⎯ Client application
designed to allow you to create basic report
templates that query the InfoCenter Server for
point data. Report templates can be scheduled to
automatically generate reports with predefined
data ranges.
