1.) Copy the csv file(s) together with the MD5 checksum files to a folder on the
InfoCenter server.
2.) Use the ADP2IC migration tool to verify the MD5 checksum of the csv file (see
section 3.7). This is possible by temporarily installing the migration tool on the
InfoCenter server.
3.) Log in to Windows as local administrator or InfoCenter administrator.
4.) Start the InfoCenter Administrator client application.
5.) Delete all existing InfoCenter import definitions.
Note: As these import definitions will have to be recreated later on, write them
down or make screenshots.
6.) Create a new import definition as follows:
Import Type = Data
Import Name and Description = freely selectable
Automatic Data Collection = disable
File Format = DESIGO INSIGHT
7.) Go to the saved csv files and select the first file.
Note: IF the existing import definition was not deleted, the data source change in
must be confirmed for every data point in the csv file.
Click "Yes" in the following dialog box:
Click "OK" to end the import definition creation dialog box.
8.) Select the newly created definition in the Import Definitions Overview and click
“Import Now”.
9.) Wait until import is complete and “Last Status” – “Successful” appears.
10.) Delete this import definition.
11.) Repeat steps 6.) to 10.) if more than one csv file was created by the ADP2IC
migration tool.
