2.3 New installation

2.3.1 What is installed?

The migration tool can be installed in any path. The setup program copies are required

data to the installation folder.

The following files exist after setup:

• ADP2IC.exe

• ADP2IC.exe.config

• ADP2IC.ico

• CompanyLogo.gif

• DynamicPDF.Generator.Developer.dll

• GlobalConfig.soap

• License_de.rtf

• License_en.rtf

Multilingual

The tool supports German (de-DE) and English (en-US) for user interfaces and texts.

To save the corresponding dll files for the text resources, the setup program creates the

following folders in the installation folder and saves the language-dependent dll files

(ADP2IC.resources.dll).

• en

• en-US

This is the migration tool. It has a user interface and is started by double-clicking the

exe file in the installation folder.

The engineering file of the tool contains an engineering variable that allows for setting

the language for the user interface and tool texts.

For German, the following setting is necessary:

For English, the following setting is necessary: <add key="Localization" value="en-US" />

If the file is not available, the tool is started in the operating system language. If the OS

language is not supported, the tool starts in default language German. If a language not

supported by the tool was set, the tool also starts in default German.

In this file the data point is configured for the AuditTrail-data import in the InfoCenter

database and the database user name for the AuditTrail data in the ADP database.

This is the icon displayed on the desktop and program folder for the migration tool.

CompanyLogo.gif

The is the company logo copied to the report file.
