Dispensing ice

Disconnecting the ice maker

If ice cubes are not to be dispensed for longer than

1 week (e.g. holiday), temporarily disconnect the ice

cube maker to prevent the ice cubes from freezing

together.

To disconnect the ice maker:

1. Remove the ice cube container.

2. Press the On/Off switch behind the ice cube tray

downwards - ice cube maker is switched off.

3. Empty and clean ice cube container. Re-attach

the ice cube container. Ensure that the ice cube

container engages with the support.

Switching on the ice cube maker again:

Press the On/Off switch behind the ice cube tray

upwards – ice cube maker is switched on.

Note

The description under the On/Off switch is for customer

service only and can be ignored.

and water dispenser

ã=Caution

■ Before switching off the ice maker, it is most

important that you switch the water supply

to the appliance off for a few hours.

■ Empty and clean ice cube container. Re-attach

the ice cube container. Ensure that the ice cube

container engages with the support.

Switching the ice and water dispenser off

Simultaneously press “freezer” and “super” buttons

for 5 seconds. “IWD off” is indicated on the display

panel.

Simultaneously press “freezer” and “super” buttons

for 5 seconds. The “IWD off” display goes out on the

display panel.
