The APOGEE™ Automation Laboratory Room Dual

Duct Supply Air Terminal is an industrial grade, pre-

packaged airflow measurement and control terminal

unit for dual duct supply air systems. The terminal has

round inlets for the hot and cold ducts, a rectangular

outlet, and has an insulated and lined casing. When

used with the Laboratory Room Controller, it provides

fast-acting, stable and precise laboratory supply airflow

control from minimum to maximum room airflow

requirements.

Measurement of critical airflow is accomplished by four

quadrant sensing technology to achieve measurement

accuracy of 2% of actual flow (sensor only). Airflow

control is achieved utilizing a round separate damper

mounted on a solid, zinc plated steel shaft and

polyethylene bushings. Construction is 22 gauge zinc

coated steel, 22 gauge ductwork and damper.

Temperature control is achieved by controlling the

Laboratory Room Dual Duct Supply Air Terminal hot

and cold duct dampers simultaneously through a

common zinc plated steel damper shaft.

Features

• Nine sizes with air flow capacities from 35 to 4470

CFM.

• Four-quadrant sensor with multi-point, center

averaging and signal amplification.

• Zinc plated steel damper shaft on polyethylene

maintenance bushing for fast-acting control and

maintenance free operation.

• Low sound levels, both radiated and discharge.

• 22 gauge casing with straight discharge

connection.

• Round inlet collar accepts nominal flexible or rigid

duct.

• Internal insulation ¾” fiber free foam which meets

requirements of NFPA 90A and UL181. Closed

cell structure foam allows for disinfecting and hand

washing with detergents and water.

• Meets mechanical standards UL 181, NFPA 90A,

ASTM E84, UL 723 and bacteria standard ASTM

C665.

• Ultra low leakage construction.

Description

The Dual Duct Supply Air Terminal consists of the

following components:

• Dual galvanized steel round inlet ducts and

damper blades in sizes from 4” (10.2 cm) to 16”

(40.6 cm) diameter

• Four quadrant measurement sensor on the outlet

duct

• Rectangular, lined and insulated casing with

straight slip over collar

• Factory-mounted controls options

• Pneumatic or electronic damper actuation
