1.
Set REPORT to OVERVIEW.
2.
Determine the number of segments. Set SEG COUNT to this value.
1 to 4 will be accepted.
NOTE: A DXR Fume Hood Controller can directly handle single segment
hood configurations.
NOTE: Numbers on the sashes show how the sash should be wired. After
the physical sashes are calibrated, the position of the sashes will display in
POS SASH 1, POS SASH 2, and so on.

Measure the width of the segment containing sashes 1 and 2 in inches (cm).
Sash segments 1 and 2 must be the same width. Set SEG WIDTH A to this
value.
4.
Measure the width of the segment containing sashes 3 and 4 in inches (cm).
Sash segments 3 and 4 must be the same width.
Set SEG WIDTH B to this
value.
5.
Measure the full vertical height of sashes 1 and 2 in inches (cm). The sash
heights 1 and 2 must be the same height. Set VSASH HGHTA to this value.
6.
Measure the full vertical height of sashes 3 and 4 in inches (cm). The sash
heights 3 and 4 must be the same height. Set VSASH HGHTB to this value.
Vertical Sash Fume Hood with Bypass Area Open and Closed.
7.
Open sash 1 or 2 until the top edge of the sash is aligned with the top edge
of the bypass area, closing the bypass area. Measure the height of the sash
opening in inches (cm). Set BYPASS HGHTA to this value.
8.
Open sash 3 or 4 until the top edge of the sash is aligned with the top edge
of the bypass area, closing the bypass area. Measure the height of the sash
opening in inches (cm). Set BYPASS HGHTB to this value.
9.
If there is no restriction on either bypass, leave BYPASS OPENA and
BYPASS OPENB at their default (100%). If the bypass area has an airflow
restrictor covering the open area, such as a perforated grille or louvers,
estimate the open percentage of each bypass area. Set BYPASS OPENA
and BYPASS OPENB to the appropriate value.
