Product Description

The Differential Pressure Monitor (DPM) and

Remote Pressure Transmitter (RPT) Calibrator

(

Figure 1) are designed to calibrate the Remote

Pressure Transmitter.

RPT Calibrator Tool Equipment

Make sure your RPT calibrator contains the following

equipment (

Figure 2):

• Power cord

• Plenum

• Black poly-tubing

• Extra Plenum O-rings

• Alnor Digital Pressure Meter

• Alnor AC Adapter

• Four (4) NiMh batteries with holder

• Spare battery holder for alkaline batteries

Features

The RPT calibrator contains and utilizes the

following features (

Figure 3):

• Pressure valve - allows you to adjust the

amount of differential pressure to the required

differential pressure value.

• Power adapter - allows you to connect the RPT

calibrator to a 120 Vac power source (wall

outlet) via the power cord.

Document No. 540-627 Installation Instructions April 29, 2007 Connecting Power 1. Install the four NiMh batteries in the holder. Remove the battery cover on the Alnor Digital Pressure Meter. Make sure the battery switch is set for “NiMh” and install batteries. CAUTION: If you install alkaline batteries in the Alnor Digital Pressure Meter, change the battery switch setting to alkaline or the batteries may overheat and initiate a safety shutdown. 2.
