Configurations without General Exhaust
One Supply, One Hood - This is the most basic arrangement. The supply flow must track
the operation of the fume hood at all times. There is no opportunity to modulate it to cool the
room or achieve minimum ventilation because there is no general exhaust. This HVAC
arrangement only works if the minimum fume hood exhaust leads to enough supply flow to
cover all the other requirements. In this configuration, the LRC runs Application 2602 or 2612
(refer to Figure 1-5).
