8.6.21 Maintenance Alert Activation (ALERT ACTIVATION) (3.16.5.)
Note
To modify this parameter via SIMATIC PDM it must be accessed via the pull-down
menu Device – Maintenance.
Allows you to enable a maintenance limit.

Warning Limit 1 (Maintenance Required Limit)
Warning Limit 2 (Maintenance Demanded Limit)
Warning Limits 1 and 2 (Maintenance Required and Main‐
tenance Demanded Limits)

1. First set the limit values in Maintenance Required Limit/Maintenance Demanded Limit.
2. Select the desired Maintenance Alert Activation option.

Allows you to override the factory default.

Read only. Displays the status of the Maintenance limits
Via SIMATIC PDM, open the menu View – Device Status, click on the Maintenance tab and
check the Sensor Lifetime Status window.
8.6.24 Acknowledge Status (ACK. STATUS) (3.16.8.)
Read only. Acknowledges the status of the Maintenance limits.
Via SIMATIC PDM, open the menu View – Device Status, click on the Maintenance tab and
check the Sensor Lifetime Status window.
8.6.25 Acknowledge (ACK.) (3.16.9.)
Acknowledges the current limit status.
