3.1 Overview SITRANS LR260
SITRANS LR260 is a 2-wire 25 GHz pulse radar level transmitter for continuous monitoring of
solids and liquids in storage vessels including extreme levels of dust and high temperatures, to
a range of 30 m (98.4 ft).
3.2 Features
The instrument consists of an electronic component coupled to a permanently attached horn
antenna with an optional integral Easy Aimer and flange or threaded connection for quick and
easy positioning. A dust cover or air purging are available as options.
SITRANS LR260 supports HART communication protocol, and SIMATIC PDM software.
Signals are processed using Process Intelligence which has been field-proven in over
1,000,000 applications worldwide (ultrasonic and radar).
