Note
Rising Edge is recommended for solids. COM is recommended for flat targets and liquids.
Echo Threshold (2.2.4.1.3.)
Sets the minimum echo confidence that the echo must meet in order to prevent a Loss of Echo
condition and the expiration of the LOE timer. When Echo Confidence exceeds the Echo
Threshold, the echo is accepted as a valid echo and is evaluated.
Values Range: 0 to 99 dB
Default: 5
Related Parameters 2.4.1. Fail-safe Timer (Page 94)
Use this feature when an incorrect material level is reported.
Echo Marker (2.2.4.1.5.)
The point on the selected echo from which the measured value is taken.
Values Range: 5 to 95%
Default: 70%
Related Parameters 2.2.4.1.2. Echo Position (Page 82)
When SITRANS LR260 is using Rising Edge, higher values will cause lower level readings and
lower values will cause higher level readings.
8.5.16.2 Sampling (2.2.4.2.)
Provides a method of checking the reliability of a new echo before accepting it as the valid
reading, based on numbers of samples above or below the currently selected echo.
8.5.16.3 Echo Lock (2.2.4.2.1.)
Selects the measurement verification process.
