the American Auto-Matrix Driver to the American
Auto-Matrix system only. For hardware installation of

Product Description
The American Auto-Matrix PUP Driver enables
communication between the APOGEE® Automation
System and the American Auto-Matrix system.
NOTE:
The ALN and/or FLN supports the
American Auto-Matrix protocol once the
controller is upgraded to an Integration
driver.

Expected Installation Time
20 minutes
Required Tools and Materials
 Flat-blade screwdriver (1/8-inch blade width).
 Wire strippers.
 Cabling and connectors. See the Connecting the
American Auto-Matrix PUP Driver to the American
Auto-Matrix Device section.
CAUTION
Always wear an electro-static discharge
wrist strap and discharge accumulated
static before touching field panel
components.
Prerequisites
 Driver hardware is installed according to its
respective installation instructions.
 Ethernet infrastructure is installed.
Depending on the type of installation, other
prerequisites may have to be completed.
