FireFinder XL

These installation instructions only cover the

connection of the FireFinder XLS Driver to the

FireFinder XLS system. For hardware installation of

the Modular Equipment Controller, see document

number 565–570. For hardware installation of the

Power Open Processor, see document number

565–571.

The FireFinder XLS Driver enables communication

between the APOGEE

Automation System and the

FireFinder XLS system.

For Canadian Installations: In order to comply with the requirements of ULC ORD C100 for smoke control, the enclosure containing the Firefinder XLS Driver must be installed adjacent to the Firefinder XLS panel, and the interconnecting wiring must be enclosed in a metallic conduit. • FLN Termination blocks installed, if any.
