Model MM-SX
Meter Module for the SXL-EX
INSTALLATION
Always remove all system power before instal-
lation.
To install the Model MM-SX Meter module, follow the
steps listed below:
1. Remove the MM-SX meter module from its bag.
The MM-SX has four attached leads; three of the
leads have tinned ends and one has a quick
disconnect end. There is also one loose black lead
with one quick disconnect end and one tinned end.
Put the loose lead aside.
2. The MM-SX bracket has two tabs on the top which
mate with slots in the sheet metal on the top of the
EN-SX enclosure.
3. Install the module by sliding the tabs on the module
into the slots on top of the enclosure. Refer to
Figure 1.

WIRING
1. Route the four wires attached to the module over
the top of the transformer and down the left side of
the enclosure.
2. Connect the two shorter red wires from the MM-SX
to terminal B+ of TB2.
3. Connect both the tinned end of the loose black
wire and the black wire from the meter module to
terminal B- of TB2.
4. Connect the other end of the loose black wire (the
end with the quick disconnect lug) to the negative
terminal of the battery pack.
5. After AC power has been applied to the SXL-EX
system, connect the long red wire from the meter
module to the positive terminal of the battery pack.
