INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR
CAT. NO. RPT-1 RELEASING TRANSFORMER
The RPT-1 Releasing Transformer is for the MPC-REL Releasing Module of the MPC-6000 Fire
Alarm Control Unit. The RPT-1 provides 3.0 Amps of current to the MPC-REL Releasing Module
of the MPC-6000 Fire Alarm Control Unit. The RPT-1 mounts above the standard NPE-1
transformer(s).

1.) Installation is to be done by qualified
personnel who have thoroughly read
and understood this instruction sheet.
2.) Disconnect BATTERY and AC prior to
working on equipment.
3.) Place the RPT-1 releasing transformer
assembly over the upper pair of studs
on the left side of the enclosure.
4.) Tighten transformer-mounting nuts
(P/N 899-G67197).
5.) Plug the transformer assembly 6-pin
connector to J3 on the Main
Termination Board and 2-pin
connector to J3 of MPC-REL.
6.) Apply power to system.
7.) Check for proper operation.
