INTRODUCTION
The 8727C (round plate) and 8727W (rectangular plate) remote lamps work with 8710, 8712 and 8713
detectors. The red LED on the 8727C or 8727W lights when its associated detector goes into alarm.
INSTALLATION
The remote lamp may be placed up to 25 feet away from the detector using 14-18 gauge wire.
1. Use a single-gang switch box (user supplied) for mounting the 8727W; Use a 4 inch octagonal
conduit box (user supplied) for mounting the 8727C. Make connections to the remote lamp as shown
in Figure 1.
2. TB2 and TB3 on the 8727C and 8727W are polarity insensitive.
