Low Voltage Manual Fire Alarm Stations
Note: In these configurations, in-and-out wires of zone loop
must be separately connected as shown. Do not
wrap wire around any terminal.
CONTACT RATINGS — All Normally Open*
All contacts are rated at 28V max by Factory Mutual
Main Switch — All models 28 VAC/VDC, 0.75A
Key Switch — All models 28 VAC/VDC, 0.75A
*Except MS-51C / MS-53C Aux Contacts, where contacts are
Normally Closed. (28 VAC/VDC, 0.75 Amps)
Mounting Instructions
1. Place the bottom of the box between 4½ and 6 feet
above the floor.
2. Distribute the manual fire alarm boxes throughout
the protected area so that they are unobstructed,
readily accessible, and located in the normal exit
path from the area. (See NFPA 101, the National
Building Code of Canada, or local codes.)
3. Provide additional boxes on each floor to obtain a
maximum horizontal travel distance of 200 feet to
the nearest box. (See NFPA 101, the National
Building Code of Canada, or local codes.)
