Product Overview
The Network Command Center (NCC) is a Windows based, color-display and control-
software package for use with Siemens – Modular MP1.x, FireFinder XLS, or MXL
nodes (or also known as FACPs) in which NCC provides a central monitoring and
control point for each panel-type.
Specifically, NCC supports the latest features, which includes support of
ASAtechnology
TM
detectors; the intelligent audible bases: XDLC, X-series devices;
ABHW-4B (loop-power option) and ABHW-4S (low-frequency sounder); the VESDA
High-Level Interface (VESDA-HLI), and the Digital Messaging Card (XDMC).
NCC is comprised of three (3) package offerings:
▪ Model NCCW7I7-GL serves as the graphical command center for a single
panel
▪ Model NCCW7I7-xG provides a graphical, network command center for
networked Modular, FireFinder XLS, and MXL nodes [x - denotes a number]
▪ Model NCCW7I7-WAN ─ with the use of the HUB-4 communication card ─
allows for communication to a XL3 control panel by using a MMX modem
or a MXL node, via a Model CMI-300 modem, or to a panel using WAIO.
Additionally, a new configuration with Model NCCW7I7-WAN allows for
communication on a single Model HUB-4 card for each XLS node.
The response buttons will then flash; prompting the user to take the suitable action
quickly and take action in the correct sequence. A check mark next to the event
message lets the operator know the appropriate action has been made.
The system-status bar featured on the main display allows for individual node
control. By simply clicking on the node icon, an individual panel can be
disconnected; re-connected; reset, and / or instant-status data can be obtained
without interrupting the entire network.
NCC stores an unlimited number of macro commands. A macro command allows for
repetitive commands to be narrowed down to one (1) button or command. Macro
commands, which hold a maximum 40 commands, can either be activated manually
or from a PC with NCC software.
