System Applications
Cerberus PACE is designed for the following applications:
● Alarm and evacuation
– Automatic activation of acoustic alarm and evacuation announcements through a
connected hazard detection system, such as a fire detection system
– Manual activation of acoustic alarm and evacuation announcements by trained staff
– Live announcements made by trained staff
– Playback of announcements recorded in advance
● Announcements
– Background music
– Live announcements, with optional delay feature
– Playback of announcements recorded in advance
Cerberus PACE covers both applications within one integrated system. It complies with the
stringent requirements that apply to voice alarm control and indicating equipment in line with
EN 54-16 and the extremely high standards for the audio quality and convenience of a
standard announcement system.
Cerberus PACE is scalable and therefore suitable for various application environments and
sizes, such as:
● Small-scale applications, such as those in the schools, hotels, and workshops
● Medium-scale applications, such as those at the industrial plants, office blocks, or
hospitals
● Large-scale applications with extremely stringent performance and availability
requirements, such as those at the airports, railway stations, stadiums, or large shopping
centers
Cerberus PACE systems can be scaled and expanded easily as required, in line with the
installation site and requirements.
