System features and functions
● Network-based audio matrices that can process up to 255 audio channels and
simultaneously transmit up to 64 audio channels in studio quality.
● Network components such as Ethernet switches and media converters for a fully
redundant audio network with up to 1350 participants that is compliant with EN 54-16.
● In addition to copper connections, fiber-optic connections can also be used in the
network with adapters.
● Network-based operating terminals and call stations for intuitive interaction with the
system.
● A network-enabled fire brigade call station that conforms to EN 54-16 and
ÖNORM F 3003.
● EN 54-4-certified power supply for uninterrupted operation and maximum system
availability.
● Pre-assembled, expandable wall cabinets.
System applications
Cerberus PACE Compact is designed for the following applications:
● Alarm and evacuation
– Automatic activation of acoustic alarm and evacuation announcements through a
connected hazard detection system, such as a fire detection system
– Manual activation of acoustic alarm and evacuation announcements by trained staff
– Live announcements made by trained staff
– Playback of announcements recorded in advance
● Announcements
– Background music
– Live announcements, with optional delay feature
– Playback of announcements recorded in advance
Cerberus PACE Compact covers both applications within one integrated system. It complies
with the stringent requirements that apply to voice alarm control and indicating equipments in
line with EN 54-16 and the extremely high standards for the audio quality and convenience
of a standard public address system.
Cerberus PACE Compact is scalable and therefore suitable for various application
environments and sizes, such as:
● Small-scale applications, such as those in the schools, hotels, and workshops
● Medium-scale applications, such as those at the industrial plants, office blocks, or
hospitals
● Large-scale applications with extremely stringent performance and availability
requirements, such as those at the airports, railway stations, stadiums, or large shopping
centers
Cerberus PACE Compact systems can be scaled and expanded easily as required, in line
with the installation site and requirements.
