6.1.2 Identification & Operation
Station ID
● When configuration is first performed with 'PACE-Design', the 'Serial No.' is
adopted as the 'Station ID'.
● The 'Station ID' is the unique ID of a device in a closed network.
● This ID must be a number 1…4070. All network communication between
different stations is addressed with this number.
SerialNo
Serial number of the module. It’s not possible to change this value.
MAC
'Media Access Control' address. It’s not possible to change this value.
Proto
Shows the protocol version used.
WDR
Internal counter for software resets or watchdog reboots.
Hard/Software
Description of all hardware and software versions used.
Configured HW/ Detected Hardware
To use external devices, enable an interface in the 'Configured HW' area. While
booting, the ↑ DSP searches for all configured interfaces and displays them in the
'Detected HW' area.
If a problem occurs with the identification of an interface or the detected
configuration differs from the configured setting, a warning message will be
displayed and a status indicator/flag generated.
You can use the button to reset all status indicators/flags.
OEM ID
Enter a project-specific OEM ID, provided by the manufacturer, to enable special
software features.
OEM Flags
Additional parameters for the OEM ID provided.
Static Group
You can use static groups to find similar 'PACE-Net' devices faster via filters. All
devices can be assigned to seven possible groups.
Example: Add all stations configured with the same audio files on the SD card to
the same group = 1. If you now open the 'Write SD card' dialog with <F9> and
select the filter 'Static Group ID 1', 'PACE-Design' addresses all relevant devices.
Audio Group
Reserved for future use.
DSP Firmware
Compilation date of the DSP firmware.
