'Bypass'
Could be used to bypass the given filter without modifications of the settings.
6.5.2 'Output delay'
The 'Output delay' sets the delay for the given output signal. The maximum
possible delay is 24.5 seconds.
'Air Temp'
This value is used to calculate the corresponding distance if a delay is specified.
'Air Temp' is not stored in the device configuration.
6.5.3 Compressor/Limiter
All 'PACE-Net' devices support the compressor function/limiter function with a
freely selectable setting for the following values, based on the peak measurement:
● Attack time
● Release time
● Threshold value
● Soft knee
● Gain and ratio
Fig. 76: Compressor/Limiter
'Threshold'
Threshold value where the compressor function/limiter function starts to work and
where gain reduction occurs.
The compressor is adjustable from -40 dB to +20 dB, facilitating applications from
low-level compressing to high-level limiting.
'Ratio'
Ratio of input signal to output signal. Defines the intensity of the signal processing.
For example, if the ration selected is configured 2:1 and the input signal increases
10 dB, the output signal is only increased by 5 dB.
