Fig. 88: Backup
'Backup Control'
See chapter 'Configuring the backup amplifier system [➙ 77]'.
Designation
Function/meaning
'Amplifier channels'
Choose the type of connected backup amplifier scenario (e.g., '1 channel', '2
channels', '4 channels'). Cerberus PACE Compact supports only the '1 channel'
backup.
'Enable Backup In'
Only used for PC2003, PC1001 and PC1002. It informs the device which backup-
in is connected to the backup amplifier and which backup amplifier should be
used in case of an amplifier breakdown. The input is also monitored when the flag
is enabled.
'Use Amp Sense'
If this flag is enabled, an amplifier fault will be detected with the digital input
contact. The input function is 'Amplifier Sense'. Otherwise, the signal level of the
amplifier will be measured periodically.
'Use Backup MUX'
A backup MUX add-on PCB is connected to the audio outputs of the audio matrix
PC2003.
'Backup Stations'
Enter a station ID range, e.g., 500…512, to define a group of stations to be
backed up. The lowest number is the backup master.
'Backup Master'
The backup amplifier is connected to this station.
