12.4.5 Network adapters not displayed
This error occurs if the 'pcap' driver will not load.
1. Close 'PACE-Design'.
2. Download the up-to-date 'WinPcap' driver package from the following site:
http://www.winpcap.org
3. Run the setup and enable this checkbox:
– 'Automatically start the WinPcap driver at bootime'.
4. Restart the PC.
12.4.6 PACE-Design does not find any stations
Check the following points:
● Is the firewall blocking 'PACE-Design'?
● 'PACE-Design' is connected to the correct network adapter.
– Open 'Extras' > 'Administration' > 'Select Network Adapter'
● The network cable is plugged in and the network adapter LEDs are flashing.
● Managed switches must be on the same VLAN and the port must be enabled.
– Some manageable switches need up to 60 seconds to forward a port
● Run 'PACE-Design' with administrator rights.
