CAT5
Category 5 of twisted pair copper Ethernet cable data
connection.
CAT5 is used as a synonym for CAT5 or higher, e.g.,
CAT6, CAT7 and CAT8
EOL

FCP
'Fire control panel'
LI
'Loop isolator', isolating element for detecting short-
circuits and the corresponding insulation on a 100 V
speaker line
PACE
Public Address and Controlled Evacuation
PoE
'Power over Ethernet', power supply via Ethernet
SFP
'Small format pluggable'
VACIE
Voice Alarm Control and Indicating Equipment, also short
form 'control panel' used
