3.1 System planning
When a Cerberus PACE Compact system is planned, the following questions must
first be answered:
● In how many zones are audio signals to be emitted?
● How many zones are to be controlled individually?
● Are the zones for the 'Alarm' and 'Non-alarm' applications identical?
● How many audio channels are required?
● How many audio channels are required in parallel?
● How many call stations are required?
● Which safety level is required to safeguard against failure?
Once these questions have been answered, the network topology, the component
zones, and the amplifiers can be planned.
