8.2 PACE-Bus RS485 call station PT2003, PT2009
PT2003-A1, PT2009-A1 and accessories are approved in accordance with EN 54-
16 and are suitable for the 'Alarm' and 'Non-alarm' applications.

In highly reliable life safety systems, use PT2001-A1 or PT2002-A1 with a
redundant network and power wiring (see Network call station PT2001, PT2002
[➙ 31]).
8.2.1 Network connection
Connection to the control panel via desk call station interface PTO2008-A1 or
PN1002-A1 respectively with copper Ethernet cable (CAT5), maximum 500 m.
PT2003-A1 and PT2009-A1 connection to the audio matrix PC2001-A1/PC2003-
A1/Cerberus PACE Compact audio matrix board/PC2005-A1 only at audio input 1.
If the PT2003-A1/PT2008-A1/PT2009-A1 call station is connected to an audio
matrix/Cerberus PACE Compact audio matrix board with integrated micro SD card,
the call station and the micro SD card announcement have the same signal priority.
PT2003-A1/PT2009-A1 is not compatible with audio matrix PC2002-A1/PC2006-
A1.
PT2008-A1 cannot be connected to the same audio matrix/Cerberus PACE
Compact audio matrix board as PT2003-A1/PT2009-A1.
The PTO2006-A1 extends the PT2009-A1 with 8 additional configurable zone
buttons.
Up to 4 call stations PT2009-A1 with up to 5 PTO2006-A1 per PT2009-A1 on one
'PACE-Bus' (RS485) or per call station interface PTO2008-A1. All PT2009-A1 work
in parallel with the same audio channel.
One fire brigade call station PT2003-A1 can be connected on one 'PACE-Bus'
(RS485) or per call station interface PTO2008-A1. If PT2003-A1 is used, no further
extension on this 'PACE-Bus' (RS485) is allowed.
Only 1x 'Audio IN 1' connection of PT2003-A1/PT2008-A1/PT2009-A1.
