6.3.14 Backup concept
In case of an amplifier fault, a backup amplifier takes over its role and ensures that
a message will still be played to the speaker lines.

The digital audio matrix PC2003-A1 comes with an integrated backup concept. It
supervises the connected amplifiers. In case of a detected amplifier fault, it
switches to the designated backup input. When the amplifier on input 'A1' fails, the
integrated backup switch automatically switches to the backup amplifier connected
to the backup input 'B1'.
