6.14 'PACE-Net' network switches

Ethernet network switches are used to connect individual Cerberus PACE 'PACE-

Net' network components, such as Cerberus PACE digital audio matrices and call

stations. All Cerberus PACE Ethernet network switches feature standard copper

Ethernet (CAT5) RJ45 sockets for the connection of network components.

The Ethernet switches can be connected to a fully redundant 'PACE-Net' network

of up to 1350 network participants. The 'PACE-Net' network can be built with 100

Mbit/s Ethernet and/or with various fiber-optic adapters in multi-mode or single

mode.

The Cerberus PACE Ethernet network includes two network switches, one media

converter three fiber-optic adapters and one repeater.
