8.2 User accounts
To prevent external access to the system and the reconfiguration of sensitive
system components, there is a comprehensive user configuration facility for
managing the access levels. Each user is granted different permissions.
The following user accounts are available:
● 'SYSTEM'
– This account possesses exclusive rights and is the only one permitted to
make protection settings on a continuous basis. It is used to set up the
security. This user account is granted all permissions.
● 'Administrator'
– This user account has permission to configure all relevant system
parameters, including firmware updates. This account could be handed
over to the customer. The default permission is 'No Access'.
● 'Everyone'
– Like the 'Administrator' account, this account could potentially be
configured to allow any type of access, but is usually configured for read-
only access. The default permission is 'No Access'.
● Special user 'Specific'
– This user account grants specific permissions for certain modules only. The
default permission is 'No Access'.
