12.4.1 No channel feeding into network
1. Check if 'AudioFeed' is enabled in the 'Basic Station Configuration' window,
see chapter 'Basic Station Configuration' [➙ 97].
2. Check that no 'AudioTalk' or 'Trigger Audio Channel' logic input function has
been configured in the logic input, see chapter 'Logic Inputs – Connector'
[➙ 149].
3. Check that no 'Talk Button' has been configured on the virtual keypad
configuration page.
12.4.2 Call station keypad extension is not working or is
responding slowly
1. Open the peripheral and supervision configuration page
– 'Enable the external UART' checkbox must be enabled
2. Check whether 'Keypad Extension' is selected as the protocol on the 'Desk call
stat. (19 buttons)'.
3. Check whether the 'SysLogInterval' value has been set to 50 ms.
12.4.3 I can’t change the UART protocol, because the
configuration page is read only
1. Open the basic station configuration page
2. Press and hold <Ctrl> and double-click on the red 'Expert Settings!' label at the
same time.
3. Choose a new protocol type

4. Set the protocol type to debug and select a new protocol from the peripheral
and supervision page
12.4.4 Error Logging: Couldn’t clean an error
No error present
Unable to delete error from error log
1. Check that the configured logging stations do not include each other.
2. Delete any stations from the RSL which are configured for active error logging
and contain other logging stations in their own RSL at the same time.
