Loop status
Description
Typical errors/cause of fault
'HARDWARE_PROTECT'
The whole loop is switched off because
of a malfunction during the startup
phase.
While startup, the loop will enable
segment after segment, until the loop is
fully closed.
If the pilot tone supplied at the start of
the loop is not measured at the end of
the loop, the status will change to
'HARDWARE_PROTECT'.
Missing loudspeaker connected to an
isolator module
Cross bonding of +100 V and 0 V
speaker line wires.
A segment of the loop is shortened
A segment of the loop disconnected due
to a broken connection
Pilot voltage not sufficient to supply the
modules > increase the pilot tone gain
'OK'
The loop is free of faults.
'BREAK'
Problem in loop.
The loop needs to be inspected by a
trained technician to resolve the cause
of the fault.
The isolator modules detected a fault
and shut down a segment of the loop
