10.3.4 DSP Firmware Update
● Use the 'DSP Firmware Update' function to update the firmware of a single
station or the whole system.
● It is not possible to carry out a firmware downgrade. The existing firmware can
only be updated, see chapter 'Command line switches'.
● A wizard guides you through the update process.
● Once you have selected a firmware file, the flash process is performed via the
network interface.
DSP Firmware Update
1. Select a Station in the System Overview Tab
2. Click on the icon to start the DSP firmware update wizard
10.3.5 Controller Firmware Update
The 'Controller Firmware Update' button triggers the corresponding process, which
is similar to the one for updating the DSP firmware.
This function is only enabled for stations into which a controller is integrated, e.g.,
'Digital audio matrix (4/4/4)', 'Digital audio matrix (0/4/4)', 'Desk call stat. (19
buttons)', and fire brigade call stations.
1. Select a Station in the System Overview Tab
2. Click on the icon to start the controller firmware update wizard.
3. If the old firmware version is displayed after the update, disconnect the station
from the +24 V supply for 10 s.
If you want to update the firmware, press <Ctrl> + click on the icon and select a
.hex file. All devices which match the selected bus device type are updated.
