5.4.1 Manual silencing of the voice alarm condition (option

with requirements)

EN 54-16, chapter 7.6.2

'It shall be possible to manually silence the voice alarm message from the

↑ VACIE at access level 2. In this case, following manual silencing, it shall be

possible to reactivate the voice alarm message at access level 2.'

Configuring the digital inputs accordingly

1. Enable and assign a name to a desired digital input as follows:

– 'EN54-16: Alarm Manual Silence'

2. Select a '*.wav' file:

– 'Standard: 001.wav'

3. Optional: Press a button on the target station. Standard: 1 <no button>

4. Mandatory: Enter the target station ID.

Configuring the logic outputs accordingly

 The station ID corresponds to the station ID of the relevant digital input 'EN 54-

16: Alarm Manual Silence'.

Enable the logic input with the following function:

– 'System Variable(SysVarID)' with SysVarID=6(VASA)

5.4.2 Manual reset of the voice alarm condition (option with

requirements)

EN 54-16, chapter 7.7.2

7.7.2.1: 'It shall be possible to reset the voice alarm condition from the VACIE at

access level 2 by means of a separate manual control. In this case, this control

shall be used only for reset and may be the same as that used for reset from the

fault warning condition.'

7.7.2.2: 'Following a manual reset operation, the indication of the correct functional

condition corresponding to any received signals shall either remain or be re-

established within 20 s.'

Enable the desired input, and define it as follows:

– 'Alarm Stop'
