5.9 Background music from an SD card
1. Open the 'Audio Input Configuration' page for your device, e.g., for a 'Digital
audio matrix (4/4/4)'
2. Configure the first audio input channel and select a program number between
1…128.
3. Store a file to the SD card of the device
4. Configure a logic input with the functionality 'Start SD-Sound' and use the file
name of the '*.wav' file (1…255) as the parameter.
Optional
● If you set the logic input to 'invert', playback will start automatically on device
power-up.
● If you enable the 'Loop' checkbox on the configuration page for the microSD
card, the file will be repeated in a loop.
5.10 Pre/post signalization chime from a call station
1. Select the call station and open the configuration menu 'Digital Inputs > Digital
Input Mode (Keypad)'
2. Configure a key with the audio function TALK button
3. Right-click 'Flags' and enable 'USE_MACROS'.
4. Right-click 'Macro Definition'.
5. Enable the 'Press' field for 'Normal Mode'.
6. Select 'PrePostSignal' from the dropdown menu.
7. Use 'Add' to add one of the following options:
– 'SD card sound 001…004.wav'
– 'injected flash sound'
– 'synthetic sound 1 (beep)'
– 'synthetic sound 2 (chirp up)'
The synthetic sound is calculated only on startup and so you have to reboot the
station. The gain of the synthetic sound is calculated via the pilot tone gain mixer
panel 1.
