Phantom Power 
Optional activation of the phantom power of an input. For example, the microphone 
of the PT2001 desk call station requires phantom power. 
Controlled By 
It is possible to control the input volume from an external source. 
Extern 1…8 
The gain is controlled via the input of an external 0-10 V source. 
For example, you could use a potentiometer that is connected 
directly to the local device. 
Preset 1…8 
The gain value is specified by Preset 1…4 
Rval 1…8 
Reserved for future use. 
Compressor/Limiter 
Enable a compressor and/or a limiter. 
Thres (Threshold) 
If the input signal level rises above the threshold value, the compressor will 
activate. 
You will find more information on how to configure the compressor in chapter 
''Compressor/Limiter' tab [➙ 106].' 
Ratio 
Define the compression ratio of the compressor. 
Feed Network with 
Define the feeding behaviour of the program channel 
Nothing 
this input is not used to feed into the network 
Signal 
always feed the selected network channel 
Triggered signal 
only feed the channel if the input level is above the 
triggered signal threshold 
<test signal> 
feed a testsignal. The waveform, frequency, and sound 
level settings can be configured in the 'Test Signal 
settings' area. 
Network channel No // program channel or priority channel 
This number identifies a network channel. The number must be unique within the 
system. 
Available feeds are displayed on the 'Audio Feeds' tab. Feeds with a number 
128…255 will be upgraded automatically to priority channels, which are used 
exclusively for call station functionality.
