Master room unit operation QAX810 (zone 1) 1. How to manually switch the heating ON 1.) Set the operating mode selector to ( ). 2.) Press the temperature setting buttons (+ / –) and set the required room temperature (the default value is 23 °C for ON). 3.) The set temperature will flash for 3 seconds to become valid and the actual room temperature will be displayed. 4.

Master room unit operation QAX810 (zone 1) Checking the heating operating state * When the heating is on, the green LED will be lit and ( ) appears on the display. * When the heating is off, the green LED will be dark and ( ) does not appear on the display * ( ) will be displayed. The heating is switched on and off according to the auto timer schedule (the default auto timer schedule is set to 06:00 – 08:00 and 17:00 – 20:00) => See page 10 for auto timer setup instructions. 3.

The time of day currently set on the master room unit will flash on the display. 2.) Set the current time of day by pressing the temperature setting buttons (+ / –) * change in 1-minute increments.

Master room unit operation QAX810 (zone 1) 5. How to switch the system to standby mode When leaving the premises unoccupied 1.) Press the standby button ( ). * The standby symbol appears on the display and the heating is switched off. (master room unit) * (room units for zones 2…7) When the heating is switched off, the unit’s time function and thermometer function continue to be active, but at a lower setpoint of 5 °C for all zones (default value). When reoccupying the premises 1.

Master room unit operation QAX810 (zone 1) 6. How to set the required temperature for each zone 1.) Press the zone selection button until the desired zone is indicated. 2.) Press the temperature setting buttons (+ / –) to set the room temperature to the required level (as described on page 2). 3.) When all zones are selected, the display will show the complete operating state of the selected zone. 4.) Repeat steps 1.) and 2.) for other zones as required.

If required, you can set up to 4 start / end cycles as illustrated below. * Scheduled start / end times can be set for each zone by selecting the individual zone (1…7) and repeating the steps above.

Troubleshooting Problem Checklist Solution The unit’s display is blank • • Is the power supply off? Is the RUN LED on the RRV817 controller flashing? Is the room unit correctly connected? • • Switch on power supply After checking the power supply, call your service engineer Is the set temperature lower than the actual room temperature? Is the heating LED lit? • Set the desired room temperature to a level above the actual room temperature After setting, check to see whether the heating LED is lit
