Heating on demand saves energy ■
and costs
All room thermostats in this series have
settable time programs. As a result,
rooms are only heated if they are used –
which saves you energy and costs.
If your daily routine varies considerably,
you can set different heating phases
for every day of the week. If your every-
day routine is more constant, then the
weekday/weekend program is right for
you. And when you go on vacation your
heating takes a break too, and switches
back on in time for your return.
If you’re away from home for a short
period, simply activate the energy saving
mode with the press of a button. And if
the integrated remote control contact in-
dicates that a window has been opened,
the temperature is automatically lowered.
Naturally, it’s also possible to connect
a manual switch or telephone modem.
Ergonomic controls simplify
■
setting
All settings for comfort, saving or frost
protection mode, preferred temperature
and heating period can be set intuitively.
Buttons and menu are self-explanatory.
With the program selection slider, you
use the buttons to select a program
option and set the temperature, period,
weekday, etc. for the heating phases.
The extra high-contrast, brightly illumi-
nated display facilitates easy operation,
showing only current values and symbols
in a clearly legible form. Texts also sup-
plement the symbols in the display. As
a result, you always know exactly where
you are on the menu and what functions
the thermostats are carrying out at that
moment.
Convenient handling of
■
changes
Battery changes and alterations to set-
tings can be carried out easily by simply
removing the thermostat from the wall
mounting plate. You then have all neces-
sary information immediately at hand,
since the operating instructions are
always enclosed with the device.
Since the thermostats* set the exact
time of day and date automatically, you
no longer need to worry about changing
between summer and winter time or the
correctness of time.
