4 Commissioning
4.1 Safety
Preparation for use and commissioning of Synco™ 200 controllers must only
be undertaken by qualified staff who have been appropriately trained by
Siemens BT.
4.2 Entering commissioning mode
4.2.1 Initial startup
The controller automatically enters the commissioning menu when the AC 24 V
power supply is applied. Note:
Procedure
• The control process remains deactivated in commissioning mode – all outputs
are set to a defined OFF state on controller power-up
• All of the controller's internal safety features are also deactivated!
The controller displays the following settings as soon as it is powered up:
Factory settings
• Access level PASS (password level)
• COMMIS (commissioning) menu with blinking submenu PARA
