5.4 Pulse
An input with this identifier can be used to connect a pulse counter. Pulses with the
following specification can be received:
 Mechanical sources (Reed contact) without Namur circuitry, max. pulse
frequency of 25 Hz and a min. 20 ms pulse duration.
 Electronic pulse source with max. pulse frequency of 100 Hz and min. 5 ms
pulse duration.

Electronic pulse sources (e.g. Open Collector outputs) generate shorter, less
bouncing pulses than mechanical pulse sources (e.g. relays or Reed contacts).
The type is adjustable.
