Module Connector
RMZ780
For establishing the electrical connection between controller and extension
module or between 2 extension modules of the Synco™ 700 line when changing
from one control panel rail to another.
Use
The module connector is for use with controllers and extension modules of the Synco
700 line that are fitted to more than one mounting rail in the control panel.
Function
Normally, the electrical connection between controller and extension module, or be-
tween 2 extension modules is established by attaching the module. If, for space rea-
sons, controller and modules cannot be arranged side by side but on different rails
above one another, a module connector is required.
Ordering
When ordering, please give type reference RMZ780.
Mechanical design
The RMZ780 module connector consists of 2 individual inserts:
· Insert "Type A" for the output
· Insert "Type B" for the input
The inserts contain the elements and contacts required for making the electrical con-
nection. To secure them mechanically, they are equipped with 2 catches on each side.
The electrical connection between the 2 inserts is made with a 4-core cable, which
does not constitute part of the delivery. The wiring between insert “Type A” and insert
“Type B” must be made on site.
