When using “T9” for entering mes-
sages, you only need to enter one
keystroke for each letter. T9 deduc-
es the correct word from the individ-
ual key entries by making compari-
sons with a comprehensive
dictionary. If a number of letters is
possible with a key combination, T9
chooses the most common word
and offers a list of possible alterna-
tives.

Enter the desired word by pressing
the key with the appropriate letter
only once, e.g. for “off”:

changing during input, it is best to
write a whole word without looking
at the display.
T9 converts language-specific spe-
cial characters, e.g. ä. Simply enter
the corresponding default character
in the message, e.g. a.

played is the one you want. If so, ter-
minate it, otherwise correct it:
