BeforeconnectingtheSCD1297tothepowersupply,acheckshouldbecarriedoutastowhether
theVGAconnectorispluggedinproperlyandthatthescrewsaretightened.Thereisacompartment
ontherearoftheunittoholdthestandardpowersupplyunitdeliveredwiththedisplay.
Themonitorcan,however,alsobepoweredbya12Vsupply(observepolarityofthepowersupply
connections).
Ifavideosignalisconnected,theimagewillappearimmediatelyonthescreen.
Therearemanypossiblereasonswhyanimagemightfailtoappearonthedisplayafterithasbeen
switchedon:

 -noVGAsignalconnected

 -nosynchronisationsignalconnected

- horizontalandverticalsynchronisationsignalsareconnectedthewrongwayround
