– Speaker portion is designed for a field-selectable input of either 25 or 70 VRMS;

– Manual selector switch for setting the candela is tamper-resistant
– The strobe portion, when synchronization is required, is compatible via the use of the Siemens
50-point, 252-point and 504-point addressable fire alarm control panels (FACPs), as well as with:
 FireFinder® XLS/V FACPs
 PAD-3 or PAD-4™ NAC Extenders
 Siemens dual-sync control (DSC) modules
– The strobes do not drift out of synchronization at any time during operation
– The strobes will revert to a non-synchronized flash-rate, if the sync module
or Power Supply should fail to operate (i.e.
– contacts remain closed)
– Wall-mount speaker and speaker-strobe appliances are designed for indoor-flush
mounting to 4” (10.2 cm.) square –x– 2-1/8” (5.4 cm.) electrical boxes without
need for an extension ring or surface mounting
– Ceiling-mount, speaker-strobe Series ‘SE’ appliances are designed for indoor, flush mounting
– Speaker and speaker-strobe incorporate a speaker-mounting plate with a snap-on grille cover
 The finish on each grille for Siemens Series ‘SE’ speakers and speaker-strobes is white or red
– All speaker and speaker-strobe appliances are listed for Special Applications:
 Strobes are designed to flash at 1-flash-per-second minimum over their “Regulated Input Voltage Range”
 Notes: NFPA-72 specifies a flash rate of 1-to-2 flashes per second.
ADA Guidelines specify a flash rate of 1-to-3 flashes per second.
 All candela ratings represent minimum-effective Strobe intensity, based on UL Standard 1971
