Product Description

This kit contains the parts needed to reconfigure an

existing SED2 Bypass installation with a unit

manufactured prior to September 2009 to a BT300

HVAC Drive with Bypass.

Document No. 129-710 Installation Instructions May 10, 2016 6. Using a small Phillips screwdriver, disconnect the input power, output motor leads, and ground conductor at the SED2 Drive terminals. 7. Open the bypass door and pull the wiring down through the conduits into the cabinet. 8. Remove the conduit nuts from the fittings inside the bypass enclosure. Figure 6. Conduit Lock Nuts (Typical). 9. Using a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the drive mounting screws. Figure 4.

Always wait five minutes after disconnecting the SED2 from the power source before performing any work. 1. Disconnect power. 2. Remove SED2 terminal strip and drive protective cover. Figure 3. Using four each of the mounting hardware screws, lock washers, and flat washers as required, place the drive adapter plate in place on the back plane and secure. Table 1. Back Plate and Hardware. Run the existing wires from thebypass enclosure back up through the conduit and into the bottom of the BT300 Drive. Figure 2. Re-Install the Protective Cover. 4. Connect the control wiring to the appropriate terminals as shown in Table 1. Figure 1. BT300 Drive Power and Motor Connections. 2. Trim and strip the wires as needed. Terminate the input, output power wires, and the ground to the BT300 Drive.

Using a utility knife or pliers, cut free the opening on the drive cover to clear the control wiring conduit. 3. Remove the existing bypass labels on the inside of the bypass cabinet door and replace with new labels provided in the Migration Kit. 4. Close the bypass enclosure door and secure. 5.
