Increasing the Pulse Frequency (Switching Frequency) has the benefit of reducing the
acoustic noise of the driven motor. The downside of this is that the SED2 will generate
more heat internally within the drive. It is therefore important to observe the derating
table shown below. If full motor output shall also be ensured at higher pulse
frequencies, the VSD must be selected according to the following table.
