SED2 VFD LON Interface Option
Description
The LONMARK® certified SED2 LON Interface Option provides
direct digital control of SED2 Variable Frequency Drives
(VFDs). The SED2 VFD is designed to reside on a
L
ONWORKS® network, providing seamless interaction with all
L
ONMARK products from multiple vendors. The SED2 LON
Interface Option offers a cost-effective solution by reducing
system installation and by allowing direct integration to
control systems.
Features
 Conforms to and is certified to the LONMARK
interoperability guidelines, enabling information sharing
with other LONMARK products.

ONMARK-compliant with variable speed motor drive
profile number 6010.
 Modular snap-on design for simple installation and easy
control system integration to any existing or new SED2
VFD.
 Uses Standard Network Variable Types (SNVTs) for
communication, allowing the SED2 VFD to be
configured, controlled, and monitored via the LonTalk®
network.
 48 SNVTs preconfigured for control/monitoring.
 Field-selectable SED2 VFD parameters allow entry and
updating of setpoint and control parameters.
