SED2 VFD EMC Filter Package Option

Description
The EMC Filter package reduces radiated emissions and
conducted emissions when installed with the SED2 VFD
E-Bypass.

NOTE: Frame Size F does not require Ferrite beads or
wire.
NOTE: The SED2 VFD E-Bypass installed with an EMC
Filter package has been tested and found to
comply with the limits for a Class A digital
device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against such interference when
operated in a commercial environment.

WARNING:
If the EMC filter package is not properly
installed with the E-Bypass, the E-Bypass may
generate, use, and radiate radio frequency
energy.

Ferrite beads are to be
located no more than 1-
inch (25 mm) from SED2
VFD.
CAUTION:
Only personnel certified to work
with high voltage 3-phase line
power are to complete wiring.
